I live in Kelso Washington, with my wife Sarah and our 6 children. In my spare time I enjoy spending time in the outdoors and coaching baseball, football, and wrestling. I am actively involved in my church and I am currently the President of our youth group. I am also a board member of the Roosevelt Elk foundation and the Brighton support foundation. I am a public speaker and educator. I hold seminars teaching leadership and communication along with financial literacy courses to companies and their employees and other organizations such as church groups, athletic teams, youth groups and schools in our area teaching students about these topics.

Adventure is one of my core values- if I do not nurture it, I’m not at my best! From age 12-20 I attended, volunteered, interned and then guided at an outdoor adventure camp deep in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. We took trips around Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico and even Bolivia as I thrived and struggled with rock climbing, mountain biking, backpacking and mountaineering. Through these experiences in the wilderness, I gained a growing self-confidence and felt the presence of God for the first time.

As I started my young family I enjoyed sharing the beauty and magnificence of the outdoors with my children through backpacking and camping. I am married to an amazing fisherman and chemical engineer, Joe Bob. I have four amazing kids, each with their own strong personalities. Chloe 21, Sage 18, Bluebelle 6, and Joey 5.

I graduated college with my Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Science with a focus on pre-med. I love the medical field, though will likely only pursue it as it includes Wilderness First Aid.

Currently, I am working as a support teacher at Kalama middle and high school. It is challenging and I enjoy it. I am also a travel coach to help people plan their vacations to Disney, Universal, all-inclusive, cruises and more!

I believe in being a good friend, doing hard things, being authentic, working hard and letting loose to relax or be silly. I believe in big dreams and that you truly can be better and thrive as you choose Christ in your story.
